What Is a Landlord Gas Safety Certificate?

A Landlord Gas Safety Certificate, commonly known as a CP12, records the gas safety checks carried out at a property by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

For landlords, gas appliances and flues provided for tenants must be checked for safety at the required intervals, and the appropriate gas safety record should be provided to the tenant.

We make the process straightforward — simply book your appointment and our engineer will attend the property, complete the inspection and provide your certificate.

What Do We Check During a Gas Safety Inspection?

During your appointment, the engineer will carry out the appropriate safety checks on the gas installation and appliances being inspected.
Checks can include:

Gas appliance operating condition
Gas pressure where applicable
Flue and ventilation arrangements
Safety devices
Signs of unsafe operation
Gas tightness where required
Carbon monoxide safety considerations
Recording appliance and inspection details

Once the inspection is completed, your Gas Safety Record / CP12 certificate will be issued.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really great service from Waqar. He was reliable, professional and very helpful throughout. We used him for several compliance and safety checks, including the Gas Safety Certificate, EPC and testing, fire safety checks and emergency lighting.

Everything was handled efficiently and communication was clear from start to finish. Would definitely recommend Waqar to landlords, agents or anyone needing property compliance work carried out.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found this company to be highly proficient in assessing and completing work. But for me it was the email exchanges and the reassurances that they will be able to resolve my issue. They were true to their word, and the electricians were both efficient and courteous… I would not hesitate to recommend them .
